Mage Guild: 0.1.2 Changelog: Atlantis and Lighting


New Level:  Atlantis! This new underwater environment replaces legs with mermaid tails and awards the player with the ability to summon a giant crab for defeating the mages here.

New lighting effects were also added in to give each level a unique feel.


Other Updates:

  • The order of levels has been shuffled around a bit. Up until now I have had the levels in the order that I made them, but the quality of the levels has improved quite a bit since the early development of the game. It was decided to shuffle some of the more exciting and interesting levels more toward the beginning of the progression of levels.
  • Tile art has been exported to a higher quality. This increases the size of the game slightly, but noticeably improves the look of the game.
  • Potions respawn three turns after getting quaffed instead of being single-use resources.
