Mage Guild: 0.0.17 Changelog
After a two-year hiatus, I has resumed development of the turn-based tactical wizard dueling game, Mage Guild. Recent changes include:
- Updated the engine/game library to Phaser 3.60.0. This update brings with it some major improvements to performance on mobile and some cool visual effects I plan on experiment with soon.
- Added a level where the mages duel in the center of a nearby village. The villagers are unhappy about the carnage that has been brought to their normally peaceful town.
- Added a Summon Villager spell to reward the player with after defeating the other mages on the town map which summons a very confused villager wherever the player casts the spell.
Next up, I plan on working on an astral realm map where sections of the map shift each turn. I may also add an accompanying spell for shifting around sections of any map depending on whether or not I can find a good way to implement it.
